A Retreat on A Course in Miracles with Charles Johnson
September 16 - 19, 2010
(Thursday Dinner through Sunday Lunch)
Stony PointCenter
Stony Point, NY
30 miles north of New York City
Charles Johnson has been a student of A Course in Miracles since 1976. Drawing from the inspiration of a close 30-year association with Tara Singh, he shares his own voice and fresh insight, invoking an atmosphere in which we have the potential to discover that which is beyond words.
The retreat offers a rare opportunity to step out of the pressures of our “busy” lives and be in an atmosphere where we can make contact with the Presence. In the Presence, we do not share what we have learned from institutions or other people. Instead we make contact with something real and aligned with our life’s purpose, to discover the glory of who we are in truth.
Discovery is not the fruit of learning. In fact, what we have learned may be the very thing preventing us from awareness. A Course in Miracles helps us remove the obstacles to the discovery of a profound, energetic and all-encompassing Stillness. The atmosphere for this encounter of the limitless Self is what we want to share with you at this retreat.
It is simple, yet powerful; enriching and life-transforming.
A Course in Miracles is not words. It is a state of being beyond words. It is the greatest gift. Approach it with love and reverence. Give it your whole heart.

and not one need you have will not be met. "

What people have to say about the retreats -
There is a Presence that accompanies the Joseph Plan Foundation retreats with Charles Johnson. This Presence is a continuous and healing quietude. It is there when we begin the first session and is still there when we close the last day in prayer. This Presence seems to dissolve my (imagined) problems.
After the Easter retreat, the healing continued to unfold and stayed with me for months. I have tried to create the same atmosphere, but it is deeper when we gather as a group. – W.M., California
“Thank you so much for all you and others put into making this weekend special beyond words. I am grateful to have participated in such a sacred sharing. I have never experienced such Presence. Thank you, too, for sharing some of your personal experiences with Tara Singh.…I do feel I know something of his spirit after encountering the love you all have for him and for each other. Thank you again for such a beautiful gift.” - G.W., New York
