We welcome you to join us in Richmond, Virginia at a retreat for discovery, contemplation and celebration.

“The retreat provides an opportunity to step out of the momentum of our active lives and join together in the discovery of our own holiness. If we truly want to ‘remove the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence’ then we need to make contact with the Mind behind A Course in Miracles, not just the words.”
– Charles Johnson

*A Course in Miracles, Text, Introduction

Awareness is Given.
Not learned, acquired, or obtained through effort.
Can we hear this?
Or will the ego continue to,
as A Course in Miracles says,
“Seek never to find?”

Charles Johnson

Charles_webCharles Johnson has given his life to sharing with small groups the inner potential of a silent mind. A student of A Course in Miracles since 1976, and inspired by his 30-year relationship with Mr. Tara Singh, he provides fresh insight to ways our thought deceives us and explores steps to ending our misperception. His sharing invokes an atmosphere in which to recognize our potential to discover what is beyond words.

The course does not aim
at teaching the meaning of love,
for that is beyond what can be taught.
It does aim, however, at removing the blocks
to the awareness of love’s presence,
which is your natural inheritance.
A Course in Miracles,
T-in.1:6-8

I am grateful for Charles’ sincere commitment to this path of ACIM. His approach helps me to understand the human condition and to work with my own issues. Upon returning from one of these gatherings I always retain a new strength.

A.W., Pennsylvania

It feels like a door has been thrown open!! This sharing shifts everything. Thank you beyond words.
E.A., Washington

I have such reverence for what is shared spontaneously. How Charles gets himself out of the way to let spirit flow through. And when I listen to the session again, it’s as if I never really heard it the first time.
